To determine the most popular classic Disney movie in every U.S. state, we compiled a list of 62 Disney Animated Classics from IMDb (excluding Disney/Pixar films). Using Google Trends, we analyzed regional search interest for these films over the past decade (June 2014 to June 2024) to identify each state’s favorite. We also examined which films had the highest search interest by decade, when compared to other films released within the same decade. Search interest was used as an indicator of popularity.
